Anyway, I’m feeling a Kwan walkoff. Or Freeman if he pinch hits for Zunino.
LOL……..as I listen to Tito’s excuses.

I was trying to be so positive haha
Positive note, Arias may be figuring it out and getting comfortable. His last 6 games:
And it seems that he can go back on a ball in RF and not get lost.
It seems like we start off the season every year under Tito, and he figures it out. We are in a terrible division, have a watered down playoff system, and are only 3.5 games out in spite of playing terrible baseball. I'm not throwing in the towel yet. With that said, I would like to see them try to get a bat.
With McKenzie looking like he will rejoin the team Sunday, and Civale probably not far behind - what does the rotation look like now?
Bieber
Mckenzie
Allen
Bibee
Quantrill
Civale
6 man rotation going forward? I can't see them letting Allen and Bibee go over 150 innings this year (and that is probably best case scenario).
Assuming they move Gaddis to bullpen. Is now the time to trade Bieber? Bo Naylor? Bo? Are you there?
TRADE BEIBER BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE!!!

His 2nd inning was terrible

I’m on board with that!
He can’t get swing and misses. He always got hit hard, because he spins so much, and eventually you’re gonna hand them. But it was few and far between, and hitters were off balance so much.
Now he has no zip on the fastball, so nobody is honoring it. He’s still so precise most of the time he can be valuable. But the hard hits are way more common. The K rate has plummeted. And his swing and miss rate is non existent.
He isn’t far off from a Kluber like end, imo. Some team will bite, but we can’t wait until the collapse happens.

I think the sell window has passed and you won't get nearly as much or what you think you deserve from him now. Tough spot. Not sure if you just ride him out now, or maybe try to move him for a younger bat. Just not sure what they could get from any team that would send a hitter to Cleveland that could be inserted and help right away.
You can still get plenty for him. He’s a high end starter who is controlled cheap for 1.5 years. Someone at the deadline will pay.
These dummies salvaged a split. Just enough to keep stringing me along.

Game!
That was wild. Good win to keep some momentum. Karinchak finally sent down.
Nice win!!
Bang on the trash can!!

Solid series win and homestand. Hopefully we can keep it going on the West Coast. Unless we are given something too good to pass up, I wouldn't trade Bieber unless we completely collapse. Even though he hasn't been the pitcher that he was the past few years, he is still one of our five best. Our division is very bad, so I would hate to see us weaken the team in hopes of future success when the division appears winnable this season.

I think trading him makes us better. He’s been our 4th best pitcher this year, not counting McKenzie or Williams (who would replace him), and we would add a MLB ready, power bat (corner OF) most likely — so offense improves immediately, while rotation takes at most a slight hit.
Too early to chalk Nolan Jones as the 28th dude who goes elsewhere and their hitting coach unlocks it all, or…?
