Saw a stat where there were 74 virus deaths in Chitown and 103 shooting deaths in the same few week period.

There have been 93 homicides in Chicago in 2020.

They need to flatten the curve.

You understand there are like 2-3 very bad neighborhoods in Chicago where these murders happen? It’s not 3 people a year die in my high rise from gunshots.

We're talking CC. Any time you start off a thought with "You understand", you pretty much have to take it for granted that, no, he does not understand.

I think I might have had it in early February.  Felt like the worst flu of all time, and the doctor was really confused, because it lasted more than 10 days (which is apparently unusual for a viral flu), but it didn't respond to antibiotics (so it wasn't bacterial).

I had just gotten back from the conference I go to in Vegas every year, and there are a lot of international attendees.

Lasted just over three weeks (about 24 days).  Had a constant dry cough, a fever, and I just felt exhausted from wake-up to bedtime.

There wasn't much on it in the news at the time, so I didn't even think about that being what it was, and I obviously didn't die.  Maybe that wasn't what it was, but if it wasn't, I can't imagine what it was.  I've certainly never had a flu last that long or have that combination of symptoms.

I'm a lil terrified of this virus, I won't lie. I've never had the flu, bronchitis or pneumonia, and I get a cold once every two or three years. I have no idea what it would feel like or how my body would handle it, and it all seems completely random anyway.

They need to flatten the curve.

Cordon off the 3-4 bad places, hand out more weapons, tell em they have until 1 May to settle all scores and then collect the dead, arrest those who survive and move on.

Maybe that will clean up that cesspool shithole city
