Damn, this literally made my mouth water. 1st time I’ve wanted to smoke in months.

Oh well, back to the canna cookies.

My latest purchase.  A bit steep, but some of the highest rated of 2022 according to Cigar Afficianado.

Davidoff Nicaragua  #3 with 95 rating

Ashton 90 rating.  Very mild/mellow, but wanted to try a light one, and also have something for guests that don't like the bold/dark cigars I do.

I need to restock on some mild cigars. I had a vintage 1990 and royale from Rocky Patel over the last week.

I've really been craving one, but it's too damn cold.  I may bundle up and power through like half a stick.

Luckily it’s indoor, but holy shit the smoke is killing my eyes. I just fired up a second one.

It was pretty damn smoky in there, but at least we were out of the elements. It was a lot bigger than normal crowd.

Sorry about the last post I was drunk. Now I am cranked on some awesome edibles and will. Clarify my statement. I haven’t smoked any tobacco since November 3 2019 after smoking cigs for 30+ years. If my lymphoma progresses to stage 4, I will go straight to my buddy’s humidor and grab a Cohiba in the way to the gas station and purchase a pack of Marlboro Red

Justin, After I gave you that Juarez cigar tonight. The Wife met someone in the bar area and said come on in, my husband will give you a cigar, he had none and the cigar guys were gone. So I gave him my last Juarez. Couldn't give him one that I would never smoke myself. That's one I like to keep in stock. Hope you liked the Vicarias Black.

These little cigarillos are pretty satisfying for a quick smoke.

Enjoyed a cigar yesterday.  May try to sneak another in with the nice weather today.

Also, I have one of those digital/automatic hygrometers and it has been worth the investment!  A little annoyed that they got me for an xtra $20 annual sub, but the reminder when it needs more juice is invaluable.

Which hygrometer did you get?

I've been having to refill it every 2-3 months (granted, I haven't opened it otherwise since summer).  First few times I made my own distilled water.  Last few times I just used water from my Brita filter.  Soak the cartridge for 10 minutes, flip it on the other side, and then I let it dry for about 20 minutes before putting back in.

It also has a fan so it circulates the air.  Works great in my ~100 stick humidor (which I have only like 30 in currently).  Supposedly the sponge will deteriorate and you need to buy a new cartridge for like $10 after a year or so.  Saw someone on youtube hacked the cartridge to fill it with beads instead.

One day, I'll probably upgrade to temperature controlled.  I keep humidor on the floor in a closet, but the temp still probably runs a bit high at 72-74.  To compensate I knocked the humidity down to @ 68%, but it's probably fine.
