I tried to use the search function but it wasn't working for me, so I apologize if there's been a discussion on this.
Anyways.. I loved Breaking Bad. It was a top 10 show all time for me. And when Better Call Saul came out I started watching but quickly tuned out after a couple episodes. I don't know if I was expecting another Breaking Bad or what, but I was very meh on it.
I recently started bingeing on it again and am almost caught up to current time on the series. I have to say it's an excellent show. Disappointed I didn't give it more of a chance when it came out. I like how the tie into the backstories of characters of Breaking Bad. Like I always liked Saul.. thought he was funny.. but I appreciate him more now I know Jimmy. It is a different type of show than Breaking Bad and I can see how people wouldn't like it if you really loved Breaking Bad, but it has its own merits. Odenkirk is a great actor. He was great on Breaking Bad, but he shines on Better Call Saul. I'll be interested if they plan on bringing Walter and Hank in. They've brought almost all of the other main cast members.
So what's everyone's take on it? Like it? Love it? Hate it? Gave up after an episode?
