Never really agreed with him, but his influence on talk radio cannot be understated. A true Titan of influence for the right.

Helped tens of millions more easily understand the long-term benefits of conservatism, and immeasurable value of individual liberty.

Vincent Jackson.

This is a sad story. I've read a bit about him in the last day. He sounds like a hell of a guy. Chronic alcoholism was the cause his family suggested. Very sad. Sounds like he was a stalwart in the Tampa community.

One of our favorites. Seen him and his bands well over 20 times throughout the years, indoor/outdoor, electric/unplugged. Always an A+ show.

Have several Michael Stanley Band records.

I had no idea that last name was Gee. Michael Stanley Gee.

He really put on a good show.

What a strange feeling, not quite like being hit by a train, but something that seems quite altering.  Michael Stanley and all the renditions of his career were near and dear to me; what a truly outstanding songwriter whose library of music is rather unparalleled.   This hits very hard to Cleveland and NE Ohio, damn.

RIP ...........and thank you, sir, for the ride.

Good article; thanks.  I was at the New Eve's show when John Cougar opened for him .....and Blossom....and the Front Row Theater for the electric show, then the acoustic show the following night ...........and many more since.   Fun times always with great, proprietary music.  Heck, my kids like his stuff.  I need to go back and revisit the solo material from the last 25 years; I bounced over some of it.

Joe Tait dead at 83. Best known as voice of the Cavs, but he also did tribe games for many years.

Had a great voice and personality for radio. I used to listen to Cavs games in the car not because I cared about the Cavs at all, but because he made it enjoyable.
