How many of you think that this family actually had Ole Miss in mind when they took this kid in? Seriously? When that part of the movie came up, it all made sense. Then, when Miss Sue ends up "getting an apartment" near the Ole Miss campus...

I liked the part where they played 'How high the moon' by Les Paul & Mary Ford.

The Blind Side: the inspirational story of some kid who got taken in by a family and went on to football success, which has led to him being drafted and playing for the Baltimore Ravens, meaning that on this site (where most of the NFL fans root for AFC North teams that aren't Baltimore), everyone involved in this film and the real-life events is a piece of shit.

I generally agree with this. I thought the movie itself was pretty good, but it was only loosely based on the actual story, from what I've read.

I dunno if they had dollar signs in her eyes, they were already quite independently wealthy. North of $15 million NET worth I believe.

I knew some rich kids who had private tutors bankrolled by the parents who got apartments close by when they went to college.

I love it when people say a movie that is based on a true story is "too Hollywood" or "too over the top." It shows what a real moron you are judging movies. If movies were made like a book or didn't have a "hollywood" splash, then they would be utterly boring and noone would watch them.
