Rooney, before the injury, was playing lights out. Probably better than Cristiano.

Messi and Rooney are probably THE best right now.

Real M. failed once again after spending all that money.

The amount of goals that Messi is scoring right now in all competitions is absurd. I've only been following European soccer for about 6 years now and I can't think of someone having an outburst like this.

Lionel Messi is scarcely human right now. There doesn't seem to be anything you can do to contain him. pretty clearly the best player in the world

Im here. I was working and had to DVR it. Wow....DeyDurkie, you still take Rooney over Messi?? lol, that was filthy.

Inter vs Barca should be good because Barca wont be able to just run a muck with free flowing passing as Inter will have it much more congested.

BTW, this Saturday will be delightful. I have to miss it for a funeral, but it is gonna be rocking at the Bernabeau.

BTW, how badly does Barca need to sign David Villa in the offseason and get rid of Ibra??? They are SOOOO much better without him clogging up the middle up top. Their flow is brilliant when he isnt on the pitch.

I know that last goal wasn't the greatest because of the rebound. But how about that jab/fake shot to get free on the left. The defender was straight up FROZEN.

Well, gotta work again. Pretty upset I have to miss the ManU vs Bayern Munich game. Should be a dandy. Lyon has pretty much all but sealed their trip to the semi's.

Rooney is a bad mf'er.

Hopefully he doesn't do more damage to his injury today.

About time Nani starts to play, he set up the goal against Chelsea and gets a header today.

ManU is tough when he is playing well.

Teams trade goals -- 3-1 Man U now. Bayern in surprisingly good shape, considering this game so far, needing just one more goal (and holding the Red Devils to 0) to advance.

Bayern Munich is in GREAT shape after that atrocious display after the first 35 minutes or so. They put one more in the back of the net and they are advancing.

Look for Robben and Ribery to try to take on some guys out wide and create chances a lot here in the second half.
