Not trying to stir the pot, just wish Cavs fans under 30 would be more honest as to just how they became fans.

LBJ saved professional basketball in Cleveland.

Way to generalize. My first Cavs game was a playoff game at Richfield. I remember standing by the team bus and watching Hot Rod Williams and Daugherty walk right by me. You claiming you've only met 2 "actual people" means jack. There are plenty of "real" fans. I am one of them.

Watched the Bullets beat the Cavs in game 1....1976...Miracle of Richfield year.

Score was 100-95 after the Cavs trailed 35 to 15 after one quarter. Didn't even have to look it up.

Fans that came on board after LBJ came to town doesn't bother me at all. Fans like to win and root for winners. It's been going on ever since people fed Christians to the lions in Biblical times.

And LA was so good at winning...they haven't even had a football team in 15 years.

The Dodgers and Angels spend boatloads every year, have winning teams, but very seldom have ever won the big prize.

Used to laugh my ass off back in the day when Roman Gabriel was q'back for the Rams. You would think the football fans were at band recital, as they clapped oh so politely after a good play.

They may not. But they have a better chance of making the finals than LA does.

The Lakers making the finals 3 years in a row is a long shot. My guess, they lose in the second round this year. It's really hard to repeat as champions, especially when your team has regressed the way this Laker team has.

Fischer is over the hill, Vulatic (sp) is horrible, Bynun is always hurt, and then throw in all the decension going on with Kobe being a ball hog--it all spells early exit.

This is a pathetic thing for any fan of ANYONE to say. Let alone someone under 30 who lives in Ohio and is a Laker fan. I'm not saying I have a problem with that, I don't care about the geography really--I'm not that guy of guy. But what gives you the right to come in and claim that you know every Cleveland fan is a bandwagon fan? You're a Laker fan, dumbass. You even said they were one of the biggest bandwagon franchises in pro sports--because it's LA and they've won so much. So, it's Cleveland and they haven't won shit--and they fit that same bill?

GTFO shithead. Can't wait til the kill the Lakers run just like they did to Detroit a few years back--assuming you make it there, because no matter what bullshit way you want to spin it, the Lakers have looked like shit on a consistent basis since the AS break.

Hey, IF it's Cavs/Lakers and the Lakers win, Sage can say whatever he wants. They'll win because they're the better team--too many people want to put Cavs fans down for supporting and believing in the team. You have to admit, for Cleveland standards, they've given the fans A LOT of reason to believe. I think even Sage would admit that. But the Lakers have a great team, I said all year that they have the most stacked roster in the league--one of the best I've ever seen on paper actually. But the Cavs have a great team too. So do a few other franchises. They play the games for a reason, I'll pick the Cavs until they lose--but like I said, Sage can come up with whatever he wants--I won't lose sleep over it. If the Lakers are better then they're better--when two great teams battle, either one of them can win. The Lakers title doesn't mean shit, the Cavs history doesn't mean shit, the games they played against the Lakers this season don't mean shit--if we meet them in the Finals, even I can admit it's a toss up. But Sage, don't try to belittle us for supporting our team.

I know if the Cavs win, I'm not going to give Sage a hard time--I'll be too busy smiling about the title.

I let last year's title slide pretty nicely. I didn't want to put Cavs fans in suicide watch after their collapse against the Magic.

We dumped the Magic. It was a rather anti-climatic end to a great season. It was a solid championship, but nothing more.

I'm over it.

This year though, I will be breaking my dick off in the ass of people like SQ_Crazies, Footwedge, and others who have needlessly talked piles of shit all season. It will be biblical.

And if the Cavs fail to make the finals? Oh boy. I wouldn't even log in.

If the Lakers don't make it, they don't make it. I'll take my ass whipping like a man just like I did on the Forum That Shall Not Be Named the year we got dumped by the Celtics.

I don't live and die by championships---especially with a team like the Lakers. We'll be back at it again next year too.

You're a fan of the Lakers, and if they don't make the Finals then no big deal, but if the Cavs don't you're going to have a seizure and try to put your foot up Cavs fans collective asses. Sounds like a total doucher to me.

It's incredibly hard to win a title in the NBA. I'd argue it's the hardest to win of all titles' in American sports.

Cavs fans have just been completely obnoxious this season. Acting as if they have the pedigree to be talking in terms of championships or bust. Give me a fucking break.

I'm well aware the Lakers could get beat in the Western Conference Play-offs. I like our chances, but I'm not acting like my team walks on water like Cavs fans have pretty much been doing since January of 2009. It's insufferable. And I'd say the same fucking thing if I was in LA surrounded by the morons that constitute the Lakers fanbase.

I love Kobe. He's my dude. My favorite player of all time, without a doubt.

I'm just not a fucking fanboy and I don't hero worship. Trust me, the Kobe and LeBron fan boys (although, it baffles me how a guy who is cool with dropping the N-bomb can even justify being a fan of LeBron James) are one in the same.

Kobe is playing through a fucked up pinkie and a broken INDEX FINGER on his SHOOTING HAND and is STILL balling.

Don't worry about Kobe Bryant. He's done his best work in his career when people have written him off. Because, when he's stalking around the Q like an assassin during Game 7, I doubt you will enjoy the feeling. And don't give me LBJ tlak either, because he wears a god damn headband. And ain't no assasin ever wore no headband.
