I pm'd justin some days ago but never heard back, so can someone help.

1. How do you reverse the order of posts in a thread? I have tried everything and nothing seems to work. I want post 1 at the bottom of the last page, so when I click on the thread I will be looking at the most recent post.

2. How do you get the things to show up above the messasge box? All the little boxes are blank (bold, italic, align text, insert image, etc). I can see the A for colors, but when I click it all the little boxes are blank.

The smilies to the left show up and so do the icons above Font, Text size and A.

3. How do you multiple quote. The other site had an icon to click but if this one has one i can't find it.

That ought to do it for now.

To multiquote, hit the "quote this post" button on the post you want to quote, it's right next to the "reply" button and has a green plus sign..

Do that for each post you want to quote then go down and click "new reply"... All of the quoted posts should show up then in that message box and you can go from there.

How can you quote ONLY the post and not the quote of a quote of a quote? Right now I manually remove quotes within a quote.... is there an easier way?

I really don't like not being able to hit Ctrl+B to bold. I have to manually click the "B" button, type what I want in bold, then click the "B" button again. Not cool. :( ... And there's no "Preview Post" or "Go advanced" button sometimes.

I usually just type out what I want and the then the parts I want to bold - just highlight and then click "B". It just seems faster that way.

This forum is ran on different software so things aren't going to be identical.

OUGrad,

1. I'm not sure if this is possible as of now. The only other way I know to view threads is in a "threaded" view and that isn't what you are looking for.

2. I'm not sure what you mean...but that sounds like a browser issue. Can you email me a screenshot or something?

3. LTrain got it.

FanOfCats,
There isn't a way to do this in this version of the software, but the next version will have it. Not sure when that comes out yet. It will allow me to disable or limit nested quotes.

PITman,
You can type the formatting as you go, you don't need to click the button. Not sure why a Preview Post button isn't showing up sometimes, it is always there for me.

1. Your right, threaded is not what I want. The other site you choose linear in the options area and that makes it work the way I want it. I tried linear on the main page but nolthing happens. I dont like threded b/c the [osts are out of sequence (kinda).

2. I cannot email you. When I go to your profile page, your email addy is highlighted. I click it and I get the you do not have permission to access this page message.

I also just tried to highlight this page (the reply page), and everything highlights but the boxes in question (bold, italic, etc). I dont get it b/c they showed up on the other site when I would go to reply.

3. Thank you. Got it now.

You can use the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the page. Not sure what you mean by you are trying to highlight the page. Were you trying to get a screenshot?

The "quick reply" should look like this:
[attachment=6]

And if you click the "preview post" button you should see this:
[attachment=7]

Is that not what you are seeing?

I see both reply boxes. I don't see the b, i, u. etc in the little boxes (right under the words font and text size)
