I thought you would post a list of people that were recruited by big D1 schools and actually played.
I thought we where talking football but if you want to include all sports then you have just pushed yourself farther down on the list and It would take hours and a seperate thread just to list the students from all sports that have attended D1 college on full scholarship and played and succeeded.
We have more past students currently playing pro sports than you have playing in big time D1 college so you should just give up before you embarrass yourself.
This is not my list. It was posted by somebody else.
I am hardly what you would call desperate. I just wanted to show what recent Big Red football players have gotten college scholarships, mostly for football. Yes, there are star football players who got scholarships for something else, like Stevie Davis. He got a full ride at Coastal Carolina because he wanted to play baseball at the next level instead of football. CC was ranked in the top ten in the country this past season, and I am sure Stevie had something to do with that. I fully expect him to make the pros. One of the current members of the Philadelphia Phillies was a football player for us, and look where he got.
So what if some of our players end up at Div. II in college? They still get a good free education out of it.
On another subject, I am not knocking your school and I don't like it when you knock ours. Show some class.
