In the post game press conference, he could barely talk because he was crying so much.
Said he didnt want to end his career like this and walked off crying.
Where are the same people who jumped all over Tebow for crying this past season?

I would check the college football forum. And then not come back.

They were assholes for jumping all over Tebow just like you're an asshole for jumping all over Turner.
Emotions happen whether you big, strong, manly, never ever cried Ohio Chitters want to admit it or not.
Also, I don't follow college basketball except for the playoffs so don't be claiming that I'm biased.

Who cares? It was dumb then, it's dumb now.
Who seriously gets on a college guy for being upset that his career is over?

Would Eric Taylor cry when Justin refused his offer to merge websites next year?

Seriously. Would you rather he have been all smiling and jovial after the loss? He'd get more shit for that than simply showing his disappointment in losing.

Tebow was crying on the sidelines before the game was over. Turner was doing it in the post game interview. Big difference.

I think there is a big difference here. Tebow's college career was over. The only one ending Turner's career after tonight is himself(or from what other's on here have said, his woman). He can easily come back.

I'm making the prediction, here and now, that he comes back next year. Could you imagine what OSU would look like next year IF he comes back? My guess is that Lighty would return but Buford would not. Turner, Lighty, Deibler, Lauderdale, Weatherspoon and Sullinger as 6 solid players, plus several other role players returning? I don't think Turner wants to end his career in the sweet 16. Several "experts" have said (which is about as good as a weatherman predicting the weather, so take it fwiw) that Turner has talked some about leaving after this year if he feels like he has accomplished everything he could in college and was satisfied. I don't think losing to a 6 seed in the 3rd round leaves him satisfied. I think he wants at least a final 4 with a matchup against one of the elite teams of college basketball (Kansas, Duke, Kentucky etc) to go out with a bang. Mark it down, as of 12:59 AM on March 27th, I'm predicting Turner returns next year ala Mike Doss to try and win a NC, with the great freshman class they have coming in next year. I think he brings Lighty back with him, and possibly Buford although I don't think it's as likely he returns.

OSU fans, no matter how you want to spin this, you deserved this thread.
The thread starter is still a douche bag for starting it, but so was whatever OSU fan made the thread about Tebow.

This.
Being afraid to shed tears makes you LESS of a man IMO.

I guess we watched different press conferences.I saw evidence that Turner was extremely disappointed, but I saw no tears, not that it would be a problem if I had.

Fuck all of you who are saying it's okay that Turner cries but were the first to bash Tebow when he did, seriously.

Crying DURING the game is pretty weak in my opinion.

Never understood crying after losing a sporting event. It was stupid when Tebow did it, it was stupid when Kansas did it last week, and it is stupid if Turner does it. Could you ever imagine Lebron crying after a game that he lost?

Everyone knows that if anyone else cries they're a pussy, but if it's an Ohio State player it is because of their emotional investment to their sport and the program.

I didn't bash Tebow for it and I won't bash Turner.
I keep forgetting that here we have 100% total badasses that keep their composure every time all the time.

We all knew that rec would post that youtube video. Lets not forget redick's tears after LSU throttled him, 3/18 for 11 points, and the fact that Morrison showed up in the loss to UCLA by going 10-17 from the field and scoring 24 points.

Some people have made fun of Turner because of his voice!! No kidding. Now he is a wuss for crying. BTW he does have a speech impediment. And still doesn't shy from interviews.
