I'm almost certain those uni's were worn by our varsity in the mid 80's. I pretty sure my cousin wore them in '85 and '86. They were that tight then too!
Surprised those are still around and coming back in style! LOL

Wow! We didn't play very well and still had a chance. Among several things, free throws killed us. Numbers 12 and 14 for LCC were tough! 60 to 57 is your final. Congrats to the Champions and what a terrific tournament run for our Orrville Red Riders!

Great game Lima.

I am very proud of my Riders and Coaches. Think where we were just one year ago. What a difference. Thank you players and coaches. Great season.

A little sting is taken out of this game for me, knowing that the opposing coach got his title and is now retiring. I wonder what he would have done if they had lost?

Regardless, that also makes it easier for me to say........since we have already been there and done that....in our lifetimes!

Congrats to the LCC Coach!

BRF- that is very nice of you, but for me I would rather have our 4th. It is a nice way for the Lima coach to go out.

Orrville has really had a great year. Long playoff run in football, Championship game in basketball, State champ in wrestling...likely more to come yet in Track. Today hurts for those kids, but we have a great tradion in Orrville.

So proud of our guys. Again, they could have quit and said "oh well" but they came back and had a look at the end.

Thanks to all the seniors and the rest of the team for a great run. Will really miss watching Jake B play ball. One of the Red Rider greats.

Congrats to Lima...you had the better day today.

Game reminded me of an OCC game more than any of our other tourney games.

Just a few random thoughts,I think Mr Richie deserves a special thanks for having the guts to pull the trigger last year and then making the right hire. After another huge game by Sam I kind of feel like I was cheated out of watching him play last year. That young man has gotten better each and every game. Also Corbett off the bench has changed more then a few games. Without Chase we dont get past Ready. This group of seniors really stepped up to make a huge difference. Thanks guys , It was a great year.

Sam was just raw talent at the start of the year...but I think developed some nice basketball skills as the year went on.

Chase gave us a shot in the arm against Hillsdale too....we may not have beaten them if not for him.

Corbett was all hustle who always gave 100%.

Thanks to all 3 for deciding to play this year.

Someone really goofed putting her in the biggest game of the year. I think both sides held their breath when she made a call. You had no idea what she was going to end up calling.

IMO, it was another attempt by an official to show off. She had to prove that she deserved to be there and, thus, the critical calls. Like we used to say in the old days, "swallow the pea" in that whistle!
