what a story Foot

he wasn't recruited by a Division I school

his mom got a job at the Cornell hospital, I believe, and he ended up going to school there, walking on and has become a quality big man

Cornell has to be happy that Kentucky is jacking up 3s instead of actually using their huge athletic advantage and going to the hoop.

not sure Orton needed to do that

he just blocked him cleanly and had that in Foot's head

Cornell is getting away with a lot.

UK isn't rebounding offensively like they can.

This feels like a national championship game atmosphere from about 25 years ago.

Now it wouldn't be because the stadiums are always huge football stadiums, but like when they were sometimes just normal basketball arenas.

Yeah, Kentucky is going to start realizing that they can just dominate by driving, and then it'll be game over.

Yeah good call. Kentucky could really play above the rim and take over.

They have some but are tentative with that approach.

Cornell started off looking hungry but has since backed off.

Overall, a back off kind of pace over the past 3-4 minutes.

Lanky Foot has no chance against the power of Cousins.

danger zone for the Big Red

Kentucky being young may have been showing too much respect

now they're recognizing the openings

Orton goaltends a lot. Seems like he's had at least one in every Kentucky game I've seen.

That might have been clean though.

Kentucky is too big, too strong, too fast, and too good for Cornell.

Blowout city is right around the corner.

Orton can play.

Cousins is obviously a great player, making Orton a sub, but he usually comes in and defends well and can score a bucket or two.

Cousins has some injury concerns.

Need him in there, maybe not today, but Saturday.

Daniel isn't a projected lottery pick for nothing :)

I just hope he's around another year or 2. Bledsoe too.

it was a Cornell team that crushed Temple and Wisconsin and came in confident

midway through the first half you could see the attitude switch and it was like "man, these guys are good" and they haven't carried themselves the same

In a tourney of shocking upsets, it's good to see that there's still a place in America for a good, old fashioned beating.
