Yes, that was the biggest thing last year. Guess what? This year they've done well against the top teams in the league--very well. Last year they did beat plenty of sub .500 teams. But a franchise record is a franchise record--it means they're doing something better than they ever have in the history of the franchise. Why don't you switch teams? Its very obvious that you're having a hard time dealing with success in Cleveland. I notice the trend in the OSU hoops forum also. Glass empty kinda guy eh?

2008-2009: Cavs were 32-12 against +.500 teams & 34-4 against teams with .500 or less records

2009-2010: Cavs are 28-11 against +.500 teams & 29-4 against teams with .500 or less records

The difference this year is the Cavs are beating the top +.500 teams(Lakers, Celtics, Orlando).

*This takes into account the record of the team at the time of the game*

There you go. Thank you for doing the research, I wasn't in the mood to do it for Wedge.

29-4, and is it correct that we've won 23 or 24 of those in a row now? A franchise record. So we don't have any more losses than we did last year--and they all happened early in the season.

Oh I almost forgot...

In before FW comes back with combined record per minute sub .500 team production based on the combination of Hollinger's PER and the standard deviation of total games played in a season. All multiplied by 2 and divided by the square root of pi which clearly shows that last year's sub. 500 teams were stronger than this years.

Last season, the 8th seed in the East was 39-43. This season, the 8th seed is 35-35.
