Yea, but those are not usually the athletes in those relationships. Evan Turner can walk into any bar on campus and get laid without putting in much work. He knows what's out there, compared to the biology major who meets a girl at freshman orientation and falls in love.

she lost her temper,threw the ball,got T'd for it--and they got their ass kicked...season over

You obviously have never played, everyone does that, she threw the ball at the MSU players legs, if there was bad intent the ball would have been face high. The yelling and whining at the ref in inexcusable but the rest is just part of the game. What totally backfired? What the hell are you talking about?

Exactly! In just about every game write-up it said she got a tech for arguing with the ref, not the throwing of the ball. Players at all levels are taught that when you are close to out of bounds, throw the ball off an opposing player legs to save your current possession.

Yes, she threw the ball off the opponent not in anger but to save the possession.

She was t'ed up for arguing, not throwing the ball. Almost every game may have an incident of a player trying to save the possession by throwing the ball off an opponent, usually at their legs.
