Cousy, Oscar, Sam Jones, and even Hondo come to mind first. Havlicek played both the 2 and the 3. I would also place Hal Greer ahead of the 2 you listed. If I looked it up, I would find a few more. Baylor is listed as a forward, but don't kid yourself. He dribbled the ball as much as as any guard on that team. His assists per year were very much guard like. He starts at the 3. He plays that role far more often than not. You can't label a player a point-center-forward. LOL, come on Wedge. You can't call him a 4, don't people bitch that he doesn't post up enough? He's certainly not a 2. He doesn't run the point. He's maybe seen 100 total career minutes at center. Shit, even when he's in a lineup as the 4, he's still on the perimeter the majority of the time.

Sorry there pard....find a quote of mine stating that Baylor was a guard. You won't find one. I said he played like a guard for much of his career....which he did. You don't find too many guards averaging close to 250 assists per year. As for Monroe and Frazier...they were great players in their own right. Didn't win anything until DeBusher was added to there roster. DeBusher put them over the hump.
