Simmons has been playing okay in lighty's absents. He hasn't done much, but he isn't hurt the team either.

Haven't watched OSU this year, but from what it looks like they are thin, but they can really shoot the ball from deep. Buford Diebler Turner have a real nice stroke. They are going to need to hit those shots because Tennessee is out-rebounding them pretty bad early.

I think they're letting Tennesse's defenders block more which helps them get back in position after Turner, especially, gains a little bit or gets the head past the torso to be official about it

OSU has to do a much better job of rebounding...TENN is getting too many 2nd and 3rd chance shots. Simmons has made some bone head plays also...Need to have our best 5 stay out of foul trouble in the 2nd half!

Diebler is getting eaten alive on D and Turner looks awful.

2nd half they need Diebler on the bench with Simmons in because he's actually showed up.

Once Lighty gets back in the game 2nd half, we should run away from these boys. Simmons is replacing him well offensively, but Lighty will lock one of these Tennessee guards/forwards up.

In fairness, he has Simmons pegged. Jacking up a shot as soon as he touches the ball is his game.

I'm actually feeling good about the bucks. We didn't play that well and still up. Now that we got a feel for them and will have lighty back, we should make a second half run. Plus with the way Simmons is playing, Matta may trust him to play more minutes for someone who may be tired.
