I started an office pool expecting 40-50 brackets tops and got 133 brackets in. People I've never talked to before were dropping them off. $2660 to the winner this year.
What the most you've gotten in an office pool?

Winner take all out of 133 brackets? Not very good odds

I run the pool at my company that only has 150 associates. Charge 2 bucks a bracket with payouts of 50,30,20 and last gets money back. I only got 98 brackets this year. Company is 70 percent women though and most of them have no interest.

I ran one out of our dorm in school...winner got around $300, did it all by paper and checking them and crossing off and circling every game of every bracket...pain in the ass.

I wasn't expecting anywhere near this many people when I told them winner takes all.

I thought this was going to be a thread about the NCAA Wrestling Championship's 133# bracket going on right now in Nebraska.

This is the 9th year of doing the pool at my school. We have 53 this year at $5 a pop. Winner will get $140, 2nd place $80 and 3rd place $45.....most I ever had before was 47.
6 of the 8 prior years the winner has been a woman who had no clue about anything college basketball-wise
