Lexington, Kentucky native Shelvin Mack is going off.

You wonder why Tubby Smith and Billy Gillispie aren't coaching at UK anymore. This kid didn't even get a look from them.

Instead, the likes of Michael Porter, Konner Tucker and many, many others got scholarships.

Baffling.

Butler has a nice team.

Howard is a little overrated for being their best player. He flops a lot and gets in foul trouble quite a bit but he's stayed in this game and it's been key.

However, Mack is deadly and they have Gordon Hayward, a 6-9 guard-forward, only a sophomore but a very versatile player

This, along with Michigan State, may have been the 2 easiest first round picks for me outside of the 1-3 seeds. Butler is a damn good team. I think they match up well with Murray State too, and expect to see them in the Sweet 16.

And I don't think anyone considers Howard to be Butler's best player. That's pretty clearly Hayward.

Not sure about Murray State's defense. If they're able to extend the defense and challenge the 3s a lot better than UTEP they'll have a chance.

Call me crazy, call me whatever you want; but for some reason, I think OU will beat Georgetown tonight.

Ohio doesn't look special or anything thus far, but Georgetown looks like shit to start.

Kentucky having its way as expected

fun team to watch, though, even in a blowout mode

I won't call you crazy, I said in the bracket thread or somewhere that I think they could beat G-Town because they have a legit top level player in Bassett.

I wanted to pick them so badly in my bracket but I didn't, from what I've seen so far they look like they're playing with the energy to make me regret that.

I have OU winning in one of my brackets. I learned my lesson about picking against the local underdogs last year with Cleveland State.

Yeah I didn't pick them in anything, but I have a feeling it might be one of "those games."
