Utah State with some terrible defense. A&M had some wide open looks all half. Offensively Utah State actually executed really well. But they could finish. Quayle is their best guard and he couldnt hit the broadside of a barn after starting the game with Utah States first 5 points.

A&M is quick especially in the backcourt and it looks like they can get where they want to on the offensive end

but Utah State has picked up the fight

they haven't been very good from behind the arc, but you have to think if they can stay close they'll hit some big ones at some point

Yeah, Qualye is just over 40% and they have a few other great shooters, but he has been down right atrocious. Even some wide open shots as well. As a team they are a 42% three ball team with one player (name escapes me) who is 50%. If they keep getting the open looks, I think they hit the big ones. But they need to keep the solid defense.

with Wesley out A&M is pounding it inside pretty easy

Davis, Loubeau, Middleton

this is a well-coached team, knowing where to attack and recognizing the defense

Utah State just isnt hitting shot. Wide open from the top of the key and your best player isnt even close. Not their day, although I hope I jinx it:D

I thought Utah State would hit the 3s and I thought they might be a smarter team and that could give them the edge.

I knew A&M would be quick and athletic but might just be that and not intelligent but they've played sound.

Turgeon the coach has done a good job
