Unless someone sees something I don't I have yet to get a deal where it comes out to $950 for all that. The closest I get is $1300

Nice! 360 REALLY needs that. I would have an Elite in a heartbeat with that.

SQ_Crazies wrote: No, it's really not. You're bias because you "roll with 360". Like I said, I love 360, but PS3 is a much better system.
No, different things for different people. Saying that the PS3 is undeniably better than the 360 is a pants-shittingly stupid thing to say. There's no way to objectively say that one console is better in every aspect without taking simple personal preference into account, which is fine until you try to make that preference into a statement of fact.

Edit: It's a douche thing to do but I'm gonna do it because it bugs me that I see it so often in peoples writing (though it was probably a mere typo in this case). Biased is the form of the word that should have been used.

I have both systems and love both, but the PS3 is undeniably the best value for ANYBODY. There is absolutely no denying that.

The games are there now, the price is right, the hardware is nearly flawless, and the bang for your buck is GREAT value.

Probably not, but I'll take my $300 PS3 which includes web browsing, the best blu-ray player on the market (BTW, look at the top 5 blu-ray players, you'll see the PS3 on that list next to some VERY EXPENSIVE ones), great games and superb graphics, over a machine that will continually need to be updated and costs a fortune more...

I do love the mods that the PC enables you to get though..

The PS3 is Sony's baby, so you know it'll continually get the firmware updates towards the blu-ray side...

It was working starting last Sunday, but appears the on-line quantity is depleted. You need to get the 46" V series, add the PS3, select a game listed (Rachet and Clank Future, Uncharted 2, or Little Big Planet), and then one of their movies (The Ugly Truth, The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3, or Year One). You should check your local store. I went to look at the TV as I was interested in the package on Friday and had an associate ring it up and it was $951+tax.

The cost comparison doesn't really work here as the PC is, for most people, not used exclusively for gaming, or even mostly.

Although you're right about the PS3 being a great Blu-Ray player.
