Not quite sure why Wimbley was traded. I always thought he was pretty solid...

Are these draft choices this year or conditional to his performance this year?

I was a huge fan of Wimbley his rookie year. I'm done buying players jerseys.

Whaaaat?! Wimbley actually had a nice rebound year..and they trade him for an undisclosed draft pick???

I don't mind the BQ trade, but this trade sucks donkey dick.

Yeah I didnt watch the Browns enough to know how well Wimbley had been playing, but I must admit this trade caught me off guard. That's why I asked what they got in return. I figured it was at least a 4th rounder or something

I guess that makes it "semi" better...still don't like it.

I liked Wimbley this year.

1st rounder is the only way this would have been a good move. Wimbley has way more value than a 3rd round pick. When you're a franchise that needs to build a defense, trading one of your best players on that side of the ball is not a good way to start. Especially when he's young.

Not a good move. He led the league in sacks for me in my madden franchise during the 2010 season...clearly foreshadowing for real life IMO.

The question is which 3rd rounder. If it is their early one then it is really early in the 3rd round. I'm not that upset with this, Wimbley never lived up to the hype. Sure he did ok last year but the year before he was terrible.

I don't think a 3rd rounder is too bad for Wimbley. He hasn't lived up to the hype of being a 1st rounder IMO.

Not real happy with this move. If the franchise bombs out again in the draft, I'll be done with this team for good, although I've not wasted my Sunday's for the past 3 years watching this train wreck.

My buddy just officially jumped on the Steeler bandwagon today. He said he might as well be a fan of the Steelers now because he hates the Browns--so it's a perfect fit lol.

Then he obviously wasn't REALLY a Browns fan to begin with!
