Border Collie. Hands down. Amazing, extremely smart dogs. If I had the room, I would get one in a heartbeat.

I love rotts, and boxers would probably be my second fav.

Currently, we have a doberman we adopted from the pound. He's a great dog! We're working on adopting a German Shepard, though it's slow going since we don't want to buy one from a breeder, and it seems people who are getting rid of their pet think $100-$400 is a reasonable adoption fee.

I currently have an good ol' Mutt, from the pound.

I'd love to get a Bull Terrier (all white or brindle, like Spuds Mackenzie), maybe a mini Bull Terrier. I know I'll end up with another Mutt once mine passes.

Boxer by far. I currently have my third Boxer. Very gentle, great with kids but they think they are lap dogs

I really, really like this breed as well. If I were to get a bigger dog it would probably be an Airedale.

Any as long as it doesn't suck.

Though I prefer large dogs generally. Don't have to reach down so far to pet them and they usually don't jump up as much.

Yorkie/Dachshund mix AKA my current dog, Tanner.

I also love Labs, German Shepherds, Westies, Havanese...I mean I pretty much love all dogs minus giant black Poodles. They are my biggest fear.

Funny you should say that...I got my dog from my ex. (She was going to take it back to the pound and I was having no part of that. It wasn't the dog's fault she was lazy and didn't have time for it. She was the one that wanted/bought the Mutt in the first place)

Jack Russell Terrier - Griffey is 11 1/2 years old and still hasn't met a raccoon or ground hog that he couldn't take. I keep trying to tell him that he is getting old and he should take it easy, but he won't listen....

My favorite is English Bulldog and I'd put Siberian Husky right there as well..

Though, we currently have a Rott and two smaller dogs (pomeranian and a Pap-Chi)

Rott would definitely be my 3rd choice.. Very intelligent and loyal.. Also licks windows, which at times comes off as awkward, yet hilarious.

Had many dogs in my days...love my Siberian Huskies. That's all I will ever own from here on out. They are pretty good all around dogs. Loyal, active, smart and they scare the shit out of people b/c they think they look like wolves. Great dogs.

thanks for posting the picture - I was going to try and figure out how to. That was taken on Tuesday after he took out his second raccoon in three days.....
