lol.

I love when Footwedge resorts to stats PER MINUTE.

Again, player A plays 1 MPG and averages 1 RPG...

PER MINUTE his rebounding average would be 36 per 36 mintues! LMAO! Great stat to try and twist your argument Poon Wedge.

My goodness.. A guy is using averages PER MINUTE and Vegas odds to counter point the FACTS that we've been posting. I've already destroyed this guys' argument, so now I'm just having fun with this.

Like I've been saying. Wedge finds the smallest most pointless stats he can find that back his argument and then trots them out there like they are gospel.

But when you bring out things like PPG, or RPG, he bring out the Per Minute numbers that show Joe Smith as a better player the Jamison, and so on.

"Again player A plays 1 MPG and avewrages ! RPG"

Where did I ever use an example like that, Shemp? Twisting around what I say shows an admission of losing.

Does AV play 1 MPG? Did Powe play 1 MPG for Boston? How about Joe Smith? Did he play 1 MPG??

Just because jamison stinks up the floor for more minutes, doesn't make him the better player.

One of us did in fact destroy the other. You just happen to have it backwards, that's all.

Per minute is flawed, that's the point, of course you see it otherwise.

The stats speak for themselves Larry. You can choose to ignore them and live your fanatasyland existence if you choose. I choose to analize the data in making my accurate assessments.

Larry, Curly, Moe, and Shemp cannot dispute what NBA.com/stats dictate.

It is quite accurate, actually. Who would you rather have? A guy hitting 300 over 380 at bats? Or a guy hitting 250 with 480 at bats?

The concept is quite understandable, Moe.

You stooges are a hoot.

LTrain 's math skills are a bit challenged. Other than that, he's a pretty knowledgable guy.

What if the guy with 480 ABs has 30 homers and 100 RBI's and the guy with 380 has 5 and 20?

Exactly my point. You look at the one state that proves your point, but you ignore the stats that go against it.

In your little scenario whats better

.300 with 5 HR's and 50 RBI's in 380 AB's
.250 with 35 HR's and 125 RBI's in 480 AB's.

Fact: Jamison is averaging 16 and 8 as a Cav.
Fact: JJ/Andy/Powe combined averaging 22 and 16 rebs divided by 3= 7 points and 5 Reb's per game for each player

Fact: Jamison is averaging 32 MPG
Fact: JJ/Andy/Powe play 61.4 MPG. So basically double the time Jamison is on the floor, but only manage 6 more points and 8 more Reb's.

Then he leaves the tribe and signs with the Yankees. /thread.

No, the guy playing for the Tribe is the guy that puts up 5 HR's and 20 RBI's when he's expected to hit 30 and 100.

First off, you might want to source your numbers. Secondly, leave Hickson out the equation. i never said that Hickson is more productive than PTJ. Never.

But both Powe and Andy are more productive players and give the Cavs the best chance to win.

Now with Z back, I hope to God that Brownie limits the minutes of Jamison.

Powe==10-12 MPG
Shaq==Depends on other issues. But 12-15 is where I think he should be
Z== 10-12 MPG
Andy 25-30 MPG
PTJ- 15 minutes Max.

Stan Van Gundy will let Jamison shoot outside all day...and take away the paint. He's not stupid.

Stats came from ESPN.com

Like you always say....Numbers don't lie.

Jamison is almost as productive JJ/AV/Powe in half the minutes the 3 play.

But I'll leave out JJ, so you can get another look at this.

Andy/Powe 41.4 MPG
Jamison 32.7 MPG

Andy/Powe 13.9 PPG
Jamison 15.0 PPG

Andy/Powe 11.7 RPG
Jamison 7.8 RPG

I'm sure you'll bring out your per minute BS but Numbers don't lie. Jamison puts up more points in 10 less minutes, and is only 4 Reb's behind. Your blind hatred for Jamison is getting really sad.

Also Jamison shoots 34% from 3PT range, I'm gonna throw a couple other people's percentages out there at you to see if you can guess them.

34.6%
35.8%
34.2%
31.4%

Wanna take a guess or should I just give them to you?

Lebron
Durant
Earl Smith
Carmelo

Numbers don't lie so those guys are all poor/mediocre outside shooters, correct?

Not to mention, when LeBron didn't play, Jamison took charge and went for 30, 11 and 5 steals and shot 61 percent from the floor. I'd like to see Andy, Powe or even Shaq carry us like that.

No they don't. Numbers do not lie.
Andy/Powe 41.4 MPG
Jamison 32.7 MPG

Andy/Powe 13.9 PPG
Jamison 15.0 PPG
Yet again...to fail to internalize the basic math that I'm trying to share with you. Points per minute is also a function of shooting percentage. How is it that you do not understand this? Because PT scores more than Andy/Powe per minute makes him a better offensive player? Idiotic assessment. Why don't you list the number of shots taken between PT and AV/LP. In other words...shooting percentages.
Andy/Powe 11.7 RPG
Jamison 7.8 RPG
Do the ratios...obviously Powe/Andy are producing more per minute.

Again, you are poor in your math skills. I don't hate Jamison. I don't like the over abundance of minutes the man gets. And by YOUR numbers, I'll take Powe and Andy over Poon Tawn Jamison.

Yes...all 5 are average at best 3ball shooters.
