Flash,
i only watched warmups...but thought the same...nothing we can't hang with. Tonight may have been the tougher game....but both teams will bring their A game.

I doubt we see a more athletic team than CCC....doesn't mean we won't see a better team.

^^Rght...for all their talent, they had zero killer instinct, and were not very deep. Other than Montgomery and Grady...there wasnt much.

I really thought that might have been one of the best games Sly coached this year, and what a great time to come!! The other thing I noticed as the game ended Sly went over and gave each of his assistants a handshake and or a hug, we haven't seen that for a few years. Overall great team win. Good luck Saturday!!

I don't think anything (not smart enough basketball wise). LOL. I'm sure we'll be ready to play and have a game plan. NF lost to Campbell Memorial twice, LaBrae, Brookfield, and Struthers. All decent teams. Good crowd following.

I couldn't help thinking if we had some of those fellas in Red Rider uniforms...the horses woulda been runnin' a full stampede all night! I can appreciate being deliberate and patient...but when you have big guys who can play above the rim and run the floor...let 'em go!!!!

At this point every game is the most important game of the season. I guarantee Sly knows that and will prepare his team accordingly.

The Massey ratings have us winning: 64-52. If it was only that easy.

Kevin High "The Show" as he is so lovingly known has the reputation of looking at the chance to T up somebody and looking to the stands to see who's there as if they all came to see him. Send him to the DI or DII game please!

A side note on Jake, his 20 point night moves him past Bobby Knight 1104 to 1107 for Jake , into 6th spot right behind his dad Tom's 1277 pts. Way to go Jake ! ;)

Congrads to Orrville on a very well played game. CCC wanted to get into a run/shoot game and Orrville got sucker into doing just that for about 3 minutes, good coaching reeled the kids back into a pace they could play within. I was surprised at the rebounding of Orrville that just good old fashion technique basketball. Very well played game Orrville. Note: To coach ..think about when you draw a “T” if the CCC kid would have made those shots it could have been a different game from that point on.

I watched the EC vs NF game. NF has no rebounders they live via the 3 and few open court drives and long rebound plays. Once EC moved to covering the long ball and was able to cover quickly the percentage level of 3 point dropped. I would not take NF lightly but it will be difficult for NF to match up to Orrville personnel and inside strength.

The time for the T was not great but it worked out. The kids responded and the Coach had a great game plan in place. I agree the best coached game I have seen in Orrville since Smitty. I have to think Smitty was looking down and very proud of the game last night. I bet when they T'd up sly that Smitty's face still got red.

Time to prepare for Saturday!
