rosecrans meets shadyside for the third time this year for district championship. shadyside prevailed both previous meetings. will the third time be a charm for rosecrans or will shadyside advance to meet the mcdonald-youngstown christian winner?

shadyside 55 rosecrans 43 @ shadyside and if i remember correctly shadyside won by 12 at rosecrans also.

wouldn't be surprised to see either team advance, depending on what team show up for each school, tho would have the think Shadyside would be favored.

I was a little surprised at the score that McDonald would give them a better game. Anyways, great season Blue Devils and good luck to Shadyside in the finals.

After watching this game, we as outsiders never seeing either team before, jusdt as HS junkies were very surprised at how poorly both teams played in this one. Neither team looked as if they were capable of being undefeated, lots of unforce turnovers and at time poor execution. Good luck Shadyside we're pulling for you, however it will have to be a much better game against a very athletic Chanel team.

chanel plays basically the same as mcdonald with full court man to man pressure. the only difference i've seen is the chanel is more athletic not physical like mcdonald. if you watched the game rider you must admit the refereeing was not the best. some of our turnovers were helped along by non-calls. if your screen name means your from ferry you could have seen us earlier in the OUE preview when we beat ferry something like 35-10.

Damn....last thing I wanted to see at state was Chanel.

I guess I kinda figured they would win, but I was definitely pulling for Shadyside.

didnt deserve to win. didnt make a three all game. probably had more turnovers than points. our all district mvp had 0 points and 10 turnovers. bad night all around but still was a great year. 25-1 aint nothing to shake a stick at.

Shadyside should have gotten the ball inside to #33 more, he was giving Chanel problems down low. Had numerous chances in the fourth, but couldn't hit the big shots. However, this team has given it's fans a great ride, and we're very proud of the effort these boys and coaches gave.

too bad he didn't have that game against Hiland! (But even if he had, Hiland didn't do enough the 2nd half to win that game).

Not sure of the score, but Shadyside got beat by around 5 or 6.
