This is how I do it. You will almost never see me post during a Cavs, Browns, Indians, or Buckeyes game that I'm watching.

Ok. I'm sure a 9 day layoff didn't have anything to do with it.

Or that it's hard to be jazzed about:
a. Playing a quarterfinal game in a conference tournament that, despite NCAA seeding, has no bearing on whether or not you make the tourney because you've made it regardless of this game/tournament.

b. Playing a team that is 15-16 overall that you have already beat and lost to once on the road while missing your best player.

OSU beats whoever wins the Wisky/Illini game tomorrow.

No, a 9 day lay-off shouldn't effect their play :rolleyes:

Having Turner on your team guarantees you can expect the un-expected, and that includes a trip further in the tourny than you might think. Afterall, he launched a game winner with .2 clicks on the clock from 42 feet and a hand in his face.

The game and the struggles Ohio State had with UM do not mean shit. History has proven otherwise.

Hmmm, then YOU would AGREE that 'Cuse, Kansas and UK don't deserve a 1 seed since they also struggled vs inferior teams? Oh wait...those don't count because they are not OSU! lol

lol @ people saying OSU isn't that good because they barely beat Michigan. Let's not forget that they did win a share of the conference crown and have the best player in the nation.

Just like when people were saying 06-07 OSU was overrated and wouldn't make it much further after almost losing to Xavier in the tourney. Yeah, I'm pretty sure they won a few more games after that and made it to the title game.

Does Ohio State need to play better? Sure they do. But I'm not sure why some of you guys come on here acting like you are very surprised it was a close game. Close games happen in conference tourneys. Heck sometimes even the good teams lose. (Syracuse, Villanova yesterday)

Like Lavin was saying Michigan was desperate. They had nothing to lose, nothing to save energy or focus for. Their focus was completely on Ohio State and Ohio State was probably more worried about the next game/NCAA tourney.

I'm a huge Ohio State fan and maybe we could have did better, but let's give credit when credit is due. Michigan played hard! Sims did his thing in the first half and Harris took over in the second. Sometimes that is just how things go.

Let's put the screaming at michigan stuff to rest. Cause after watching it numerous times it does appear he was yelling at the scorers table to count it (look at hand movement). Remember he started this right after the official blew their whistles.

After watching this enough times...I don't think Matta was yelling at anyone in particular...he was just flat out pumped up and emotional! I believe that was the extent of it to be honest.
