Got one a few weeks ago while we were at Kohls and I have to say its the real deal. That thing kicks some ass. I have very little carpet mostly laminate upstairs in the bathrooms and in the basement downstairs, the middle floor is wood laminate, the snap together stuff and it cleans it up nicely. It does streak a little bit but it collects the hair and whatever other crap the dogs or our shoes bring in. Hell it even dissolved the ice melter salt which is a pain to sweep by broom and dustpan. I would recommend one if you have a good bit of hard flooring. Got it on sale with the attachments and pads for 99.99.
