I saw in the Rittman football packet with season stats that he was. So I got my information straight from the top. If you have some free time on your hands check out this highlight video of Turbeville. Kid had a great season and I can't wait to see him play at the next level. Word is he's getting some looks from Ashland and Mount Union.

Yeah, its real nice to see the area well represented, Hillsdale in particular finally got some well deserved accolades. Congratulations to all the area players mentioned.

Ashland or Mt Union would be good destinations for Turbeville to further his education & football career. Ashland has a beautiful new stadium and Mt Union has all that tradition.

Good luck to Hillsdale & Orrville, they're both going to have their hands full this weekend. Should make for some excellent football.

I'm kinda suprised that he isn't getting some mid-level d1 looks.....all he lacks is pure speed. Everything else is there!!

From what I can see, his work ethic is amazing. I feel a great offseason with a good speed and agility coach is exactly what he needs to take his game to the next level.

I was wrong about him and Bauman for sure, they changed my mind after the start of the year. I wish the best for both of them.

Don't take offense to that Red..Cause if that is accurate Hillsdale should Win too!! LOL...I'm sure QB means that from the bottom of his heart .........Would this be the second Cheater school Hillsdale would come up against this year? The first being Delphos? I'm not sure if Henry was one or not....someone inform me on this........

Nah KarKid, not offended by Donk, I'm actually lucky, I only have to put up with him occasionally, those poor Orrville guys have to deal with his mountains of posts (and edits) on a daily basis. Plus I still have cheese grater therapy!!! My complexion is now worse than edward james olmos.

My heart is with Hillsdale but I'm worried about that last "C" in LCC. It should be a tough game, the Falcons have been blessed with the size for the trench warfare that occurs in week 13. I hope its enough to bring back the trophy.

Took in the D2 contest last night with Miyagi & turdbrush. Ashland U has a beautiful facility, strangely its not really that much nicer than Green High School. One of the best things about playoff time is checking out all the newer stadiums...oh, and Lake pounded Big Walnut 42-14.

FYI----If anyone ever gets the chance to attend a game with Miyagi & turdbrush...DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK. Miyagi actually does speak in the 3rd person, all the time, to everyone, everywhere.
Turdbrush thinks and TELLS civil servants(cops) that they should get him coffee because hes a taxpayer and pays their salaries. This may have worked for George Carlin but the Ashland City cops got offended and almost threw him out.-----quite an evening.

Anyway, Findlay is too far and St Eds/Solon is on STO at 7. GO Falcons

Thanks Beast and everyone else who stands behind WCAL football. Damn proud of those boys, they have nothing to hang their heads about. I believe that they represented the league very well. Looks like next year our League will be very competitive also. Good luck. Can't wait for next season already my friends.

The Falcons had an amazing season. They far surpassed my expectations. It is nice to see a winning program being developed at that school.

And yes next year the WCAL will be fun to follow just like every season is.

Congratulations Hillsdale on your terrific season and play off run!

On a side note, just read that Dalton grad Brian Baum is the 1st year coach at Fredericktown and had a very great season at 13-0 before Saturday's loss to Coldwater. Congrats to him and his family on this accomplishment.
Does anyone know of any other Wayne county grads coaching elsewhere?

I might of missed it in the Daily Record, but did they ever cover any of the All League selections? I know that the WCAL had a banquet which i guess went over awesome. I never seen this covered in the Record though as well as the other all league selections.....I'm getting old though and there is a really good chance that i missed it.....

The coverage was horrible.....same for the OCC all league guys. After a great season of football coverage it was a shame they dropped the ball on the post season awards....Many fans and kids look forward to looking a the list and putting a face with a name. I know I was very disappointed in the WCAL and OCC all League coverage. For a sport that can draw 7-8 thousand people for a game this fall I don't get it.
