I went to some Clipper games last year so I have some rooting interest in the Indians now. I wouldn't mind seeing them win some games this year.

100% correct.....but performances and health mean everything. And so far it's been a very positive spring.

performances this early don't really mean anything either, but health does and no setbacks is a good sign. the thing you have to keep in mind is most of the tribe are competing for either roster spots or starting spots, much moreso than most teams. so while other teams/players are just working on certain things the tribe guys are going all out trying to win a job.

So what you are saying is a guy's performance means nothing. But yet you say the Tribe has players trying to earn spots on the team. (unlike other teams who aren't going all out) I guess they don't go by performances when evaluating who does or doesn't make the team. Maybe it's just a gut feeling.

OK....is that what you meant?

BTW...Masterson had a good performance today. 3 2/3 inn with 6 SO and 1 unearned run.
