Per Espn- The Bungals just signed Wr Chris Davis. Davis played for the Titans last season before he was RELEASED because of a DUI offense. More trash in the queen city. I'm hearing Maualuga personally lobbied management to sign this guy. hahaha LOL.

His career stats: 7 catches for 69 yds. Good signing.

The ideal scenario would be to take Gresham and then they probably wouldn't need a WR. But I'm not a huge Caldwell fan. Plus, the Ocho is not really a true #1 in my opinion. More like a 1.5. The Bengals need to seriously think about taking a young WR early if they don't get a threat at TE. Not just for this year but for the future.

Merely upgrading Bryant for Coles doesn't seem like enough to me to fix an incredibly week passing game.

Maybe not, but let's not forget that Cincy is no longer really a throwing team. I think Bryant is an upgrade. You'll get more of the same from Ocho and I see Caldwell improving. All should help the passing game. If a TE like Gresham is drafted then they will be dangerous as a unit.

Roy williams is back for 1 more year. Good signing and hopefully they can grab a safety on the first day of the draft.

jordo, brat is supposedly overhauling the passing game just like he did with the running game last offseason. this extra year for carson's elbow and knee should really help and they are expecting big things next year.

river, bryant is a huge upgrade to coles. teams will have to double him a lot, and or put their best corner on him. that should really open things up for chad. coles could be covered by a #2 corner with no fear of him breaking a big play. the main thing to fix the passing game though isn't the WRs, it's Carson's ability to throw the accurate 15+ yard pass.

Maybe so, but I think the Bengals would have to be crazy to get away from what was so successful this past season. Sure they might be "overhauling" the passing game, but I really don't see a whole lot of change coming for the Bengals
