“ALWAYS worry when you read this from Obama’s people: “The planning process would be fully transparent and participatory.” and don’t forget to laugh out loud when you follow up with this timeless classic: “Places Science-Based Information at the Heart of Decision-Making. Scientific data, information and knowledge, as well as relevant traditional knowledge, will be the underpinning of the regionally developed plans.”
“How’s that “settled” climate change science mumbo jumbo working out again?”

Yeah you should do a bit of research on who is out to stop fisherman it is none other than those radical rightest with George W Bush leading the way into socialism and communism with his reauthorization of the Magnuson-Stevens Reauthorization Act of 2006

"On January 12, 2007, President Bush signed the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Reauthorization Act of 2006. The new law is groundbreaking in several respects: it mandates the use of annual catch limits and accountability measures to end overfishing, provides for widespread market-based fishery management through limited access privilege programs, and calls for increased international cooperation."

You guys must have an understanding problem --- The Obama brigade is not paying any attention to recreational fishermen; they appear to be lumping them in with commercial fishing takes. In addition you obviously have never dealt with the radicals in the EPA; they don't give a rats ass about you or your interests. They are environmental wackos who stop at nothing to satisfy their warped agenda.

Keep head in sand.

As the son of a father who has worked with and dealth with the EPA ever since we moved to the United States, and has seen the good that they've done first-hand in many instances, i would have to disagree.

You can't make those broad generalizations. Might not agree with all their decisions, but i've seen countless times how they've done positive things in many different areas.

Or, maybe my dad is just an environmental wacko with a warped agenda.

I guess if you knew what I know you would have a greater understanding of the lunacy enveloping this agency, and their 'leader'.

See this thread ---- these people in DC will stop at nothing:
