After all these years, I'm finally done. This group of imposters is a complete, total embarrasment to the state of Ohio. In all my years, I have never seen a more inept group of individuals that claim to be NFL football players. It's done, Lerner, shut it down.

Sure he can come back when things get better. How can you ask a fan to stay loyal when you put such a bad product out there.

I'm still a proclaimed Browns fan, but I hate watching bad football, therefore, I don't watch the Browns. I'd rather watch the Colts vs. Patriots all day every day than two seconds of a Browns game.

I was watching the game last night with a couple of Browns fans. They were at least happy about the defense in the first half and could excuse the offense because the Browns were at least in a "force one mistake and be ahead" situation. After the third quarter meltdown period, Cleveland either got a decent return or maybe a quick offensive first down. I vividly remember one of my friends saying, "Yeah, got some momentum and now they're going to open it up and take it down the field!" (with drunken excitement added in).

The next two plays were runs (for a total of four yards). Which led to third-and-six and either an incomplete pass or a complete one for a three-yard gain.

There were no more positive words said about the team the rest of the night.


EDIT: after looking at the play-by-play, it would have been their possession after the Raven field goal to make it 16-0 and the period right after the Browns got a fourth-down conversion and then went "short run, short run, sack, punt" to ensure the team would have no chance of coming close to remotely having anything positive to discuss as far as offense goes.

The D played very well last night. That won't continue though. They don't really have a chance with '3 and Out' Quinn in there or with 'Pick Six' Anderson in there. The whole organization is a joke. I will watch every week like I always have, but I have no hope they will ever be competitive.

And that offensive game plan was the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen in an NFL game. You would think Quinn doesn't have the arm to throw farther than 5 yards down field. Even if he screws up, you have to let him play with the whole playbook. Unless that was the whole playbook, which knowing this bunch, it might have been.

I would sooner drink battery acid straight from my car battery than be a Steelers fan. As for the Bengals, no thanks. You can have Chad Johnson.

like the others said, don't come back if they become better (thats a big if). the browns are still my favorite team and always will be no matter how awful they are. same for the cavs, indians, and bucks

Let's say you go to the same restaurant every week for years, and for years it was a pretty good place. Not the best, but by far not the worst. But, about 10 years ago, it started to get worse. Well, you kept going because it was your favorite place, and you had a sense of loyalty to the owner and chef. Pretty soon, however, the food was all but inedible, it was literally pig slop. Would you continue to eat pig slop out of blind loyalty to an owner who thinks you'll continue to eat whatever he serves, because, hey, it's your favorite restaurant? Maybe you guys want to continue eating Lerner and Mangini's pig slop, and if you do...enjoy it. I choose not to.

Wrong analogy.

The restaurant, while maybe not as good as it used to be, is still the most ballinest restaurant in the game. Its patrons consist of nothing but stunnas and blue collar boss hoggs who drink whiskey by the pint. And, one day, that Restaurant will be crowned as the best in the world--and when that happens--it will be a high reasonably compared to that you get from cocaine.

Hey, you become a Steeler fan and most years 10 to 12(sometimes more) Sundays during the regular season, you are in a good mood! And you get to watch football in January, and sometimes even February!:D

Saw the Browns play for the first time last night and it was very pathetic. Let me say the defense played a heck of a game but when your out there knowing your offense isn't going to score it's has to be disheartening. As for the offense, who calls the plays? Maybe they need to hire a coach from one of the high schools to call the plays. I've been a Browns fan for over 50 years and will continue to be, just hope they turn it around in the near future.

Hey man, I understand. I've still never heard a good explanation as to why we treat sports differently when it comes to investing our time, money, and energy than we do everything else in life. It is entertainment and costly entertainment at that. If you aren't entertained, move on.

You don't get a refund or a discount when the team sucks. Who would allow that to happen in any other business arrangement?

I like the people that are saying "don't come back if they get better"..... The browns are so far from getting better that if you have been a fan since the 60's you will be long gone before that happens.

I use to work with a guy that was blind by the Browns and put the Bengals down so much that It helped we go in a different direction.

He is the same guy that totally lost it when I told him wrestling was fake.
