Crean is a whiny little nerd. I was Brutusing the game against IU this year and was fairly close to the bench, so I could hear him and he was complaining the whole game. I think his beef with Matta is that Matta keeps coming into Indiana and stealing the players his sorry ass isn't good enough to recruit. Crean has found out that he ain't at Marquette any more and it's a little tougher playing with the big boys. I would not be surprised if he didn't vote for Turner.

I'm glad to see that Turner won this award as it was well deserved. There was no one in the conference even close to as good this year all around, not to mention the fact that he came back from a broken freaking back. Hopefully the Naismith voters will be just as smart and recognize him for what he is, the best college player in the country.

Typically, there can be hidden agenda, certain coaches don't like eachother that leads to a coach not voting for someone. Its sad, but its also reality. But there is NO way Matta did not vote for Turner. If that got out, do you realize how poorly that would reflect on him?

Lighty is the DPOY imo hands down. The guy is probably one of the most underrated players in the B10 when he is on his game.
