It's easier than playing defense?

Smith didn't deflect that?

There's no way in hell that wasn't off him.

It doesn't really matter, but get real ref.

I can't decide if the Duke defense was this determined tonight or the UNC offense is this bad. I'm leaning toward the UNC offense being this bad.

K with the timeout because the lead is only 16? LOL.

Rest easy, Ratface. You're ok.

Wow, UNC is bad. I knew they were down, but I haven't watched them much this year and it's shocking.

6-11 for Duke from three. Perimeter defense at its finest.

Vitale is leaving his broadcast booth during this TV timeout to run down and give Laettner a hug, no doubt about it.

Its K-rat not ratface.
Uhh, ok. Thanks for the correction, but I'm fairly certain that the terms are interchangeable among the Carolina fanbase.

What a pathetic half of basketball by Carolina. I figured they would lose by 10-15, but this is unacceptable. So much for the rivalry bringing out the best in them.

If Dan Schulman says "The Big Three" one more time, I'm gonna lose my mind.

Not surprised at all by that half. Duke has four years of frustration to take out on the Heels.

This is fucking awesome.

However, knowing Duke's history, they will let Carolina get within about 5, then pull away at the end....

I guess I should have known it would be like this. I just expected a little more focus and intensity out of the Heels. Duke is playing amazingly well, and even if Carolina was playing their "A" game, the Blue Devils would still be up by double digits. Four losses in a row in Cameron has definitely provided plenty of emotion tonight, and I'm sure that K isn't about to let off the gas. He's gonna push his team to run Carolina out of the gym by 50+.

I was gonna stay away from this thread for the simple fact that I'm about to throw myself out of my window..lol

But you are dead on Iron. This Duke team is a good 13-17 points better than this Carolina team.

At the time that they played OSU, Carolina wasn't destroyed mentally. For whatever reason, their basketball IQ and mental grasp on the game went out the window around mid-season. I have no idea how a team that beat OSU with Turner, and also beat MSU, can end up 16-15, but they're gonna do it.

I think the turning point for UNC was when they couldnt put Texas away.

Maybe OSU and MSU just improved more. We played UNC in early January and it was a blow out. They are awful. Easily the worst ACC team we played all year.
