I think it's high time we give credit where it belongs: Pariah!! Those of us who KNOW Hiland girls basketball know the coaches and even the players are just secondary. So thanks for keeping the season alive pariah. (where were you at Meadowbrook when we needed you there?!)

And have to agree about their coach. His track record speaks for itself. Sounds like he got the LE dads in step with him as well. To see him and Diulus flop on the same day gives one hope for the "good guys"!

Yeah, it seems to me we had a little better chance of winning than zero. Given last year's result, who Dave is, and what the Hiland program is, it would seem to be downright nugacious to say that, but say it they did.

At Meadowbrook last week, I was in my recliner celebrating in the first half - and throwing things around the room and screaming at the radio like a crazy man in the second!

There is a picture on Longsingers web site that shows Dave and the LE coach after the shot went down. I have never seen Dave show as much emotion and LE coach had that deer in the headlight look. As Carl Lewis would say, ahh ohh! Priceless

They did also get a photo of Noelle putting up the 'shot'.

How does Mark get all of those photos? He must have some people working for him. I don't imagine he's wandering around taking pictures while doing the play-by-play.

There was a photog named Smith there taking the pictures. The guy is good. He even got a shot of me squeezing the life out of Vic Weaver after the shot - but you have to look hard.

I know there are only so many slots and its about each coach making a couple of his kids feel good, but Kenz is a better performer than several other players on the 1st team!

Pariah - my school kids were trying to see my face on that picture. I said "well, there's my brother. You can see half of my face behind that guys back."

i saw that picture and i find it funny that im in our original seats and you are like 7 rows up! lmao. like i said when you got back, i was in a pack of hiland fans and no one knew me and i had no one to celebrate with lol

and about the voting...regulations are as follows...a team can only have 2 players on either team and a total of 3 on both. coach picks one player to represent his team as honorable mention without a vote....

like Pariah said there are photagraphers there, some games might have 3 different guys taking pics others less.

They have a young lady, I believe she is one of their posts, that scores 19 per game. Their PG hit a couple of 3's.

But overall, they aren't big enough, fast enough, or skilled enough to think about beating us unless our whole team comes down with swine flu today and we have to bring the 8th grade up.
