I'm headed that way on Sunday. It will be my first time checking it out. I've been told I'm doing the 5K, though I'd much rather just watch. BF and coworkers are doing the pump and run and then competing in Judo, so I'm sure we'll be there all day.

I've never been, but has always wanted to do the pump and run. Always thought I could do fairly well. I could run a 5k in around 20 minutes and can bench my weight about 15 times.
But I will be going this year for the first time. My dad just called about an hour ago and said he has tickets for me.

Went the last two years and made a weekend out of it with the UFC event the same weekend.
With no UFC event this weekend, I probably won't be going.

I'm not much of an endurance runner, it'd take me about 22 minutes i'd guess to run 3 miles but i could do my body weight about 22-25 times i'd say. i'm sure the guys that do this and do well are machines!!

I went 2 years in a row a few years back. The first year was a lot of fun, but the next year was the economy started to slow down a little. They probably gave away about half as many freebies the 2nd year. You had to look pretty hard for the free t-shirts which was a bummer.
I remember alot of people giving me little sandwich baggies of white pills and stuff at the booths with really nothing to say what it was, other than a little piece of paper. I didn't take any of them haha. I played football and my buddy who went with me did too, and he took the unmarked white pills and sold them to some dummy for like $20

I had an ok time. We got up there really early, and I didn't plan very well for food so I was starving by the time we finally ate at 3. I survived the run, too, though barely. It was cold to start, but I was burning up by the end...fun time, though
