I know but only idiots would say a guy averaging 17 ppg and 8 rpg while shooting 49% from the field is a bad option.

The only thing I would like to see Cleveland do is bring Jamison in a couple feet on the baseline. His baseline jumper is great right now but his 3P shooting hasn't heated up. If they can draw him in and still stretch the floor, he'll be a tough matchup.

I think he's done exceptionally well given the time spent with the squad, he can only improve. What is nice to see is some defense he's been playing. Early he was hung out to dry on some pick and rolls/collapsing on the ball, but hasn't been doing it like he was. Just nice to see him become more acclimated to what the Cav's do defensively.

Any guy that comes to Cleveland will play good defense (if they know the rotations).

Jamison adds the slashing of AV and JJ with the skill to hit the jumper or go 1 on 1.

Jamison did take 23 shots last night, but he doesn't take shots that he shouldn't. He had that many opportunities last, and had to take the shots. He fits in perfectly w/ this team!

9-23 isn't bad...his line of 19-9-3 is just fine.

He had two missed shots where JJ and him were playing tip around the hoop before JJ getting the lay up.

He doesn't take bad shots during games, he is a solid veteran player. People just hate change when a team is that good.

Buttwedge is just mad that they traded Z. Point blank. That's the only reason he hates on Antawn.

I wish he would jump off the bandwagon completely.

Z will be back soon and this team will be f'n stacked come April. Let's just hope the coaching doesn't falter in the playoffs when matched up against a team. The moves Ferry has made in the off season and in February should off set any and all match up difficulties thrown at the Cavaliers. This team can go BIG, they can slow in down in the half court or speed it up with the smaller lineup. We have slashers, attackers, 1 on 1 guys, sharp shooters, and the MVP. I'll be truly upset if Cleveland doesn't make it out of the EC.

If you watch Jamison off the ball, he is slowly getting into a rhythm. It is going to take a lot of time for him to be "another cog" in the machine. He comes from a system of very little defense and never played with a superstar like Lebron. Hopefully, by the playoffs, he has his rotations down. He is considered by most NBA people a great teammate and a cerebral player, so he should be just fine.

He took 23 shots and look at the outcome. I'll take it. They want him to shoot. They try to get him going, he's a good scorer.

Has nothing to do with it. Z will be resigned.

Compare and contrast with Verajou...don't forget to include the number of minutes played.

Anyone that thinks Jamison is in the same neighbothood as Verajou are idiots. In fact Hickson's numbers have been far better than Jamison as well.

If your not paying attention during the games, then look the numbers up. It's really not thyat hard to do.

Jamison has the worst AFG% on the entire Cavalier team. Knocking down free throws at a 54% clip.

His defense is mediocre as well.

Of the all the bigs, he has the fewest rebounds per minute on the team.

Other than that, he's God the second around here.

I know you're saying adding Jamison is subtraction by addition foot, I just don't agree with you. I'm not an idiot, I just simply don't agree that adding Jamison for the #30 pick in the upcoming draft, and diminishing other bench players minutes a little bit hurts this team. I think it improves it.

I won't bore you with all the reasons that have been stated ad nauseum.

Ball don't lie.

Every single GM, Coach, and Player in the NBA got it all wrong.

Jamison is a scrub who cheated his way through his NBA career. His shot is horrible, and his Rebound per minute are bad. He's pretty much the worst player the Cavs have on the team right now. Including D-Block, and Danny Green.

What is AFG?

Jamison is shooting .524 from the FT line and Jackson is shooting .500.

I agree, his days of being a fraud go back even further to when he was a star at UNC. How a terrible player has managed to steal points and rebounds from his teamates to make him look better for his entire career is beyond me. almost a career 20 and 10 guy...hes so not worth a 30th pick

Agreed. Jamison is the biggest fraud I've ever seen. That #30 pick would be helping us so much right now!

Let me throw some #'s @ ya foot. These are career #'s.

Player 1 - 45.5%(fg) 34.%(3p%) 83%(ft)
Player 2 - 47.4%(fg) 33%(3p%) 74%(ft)
Player 3- 45.6%(fg) 34.6%(3p%) 73%(ft)
Player 4- 48.1%(fg) 28.6%(3p%) 77%(ft)

Care to take a guess @ who these players are?

Yes he is a fraud. Well stated. Jamison taking minutes away from better players...not a good thing at all.

I love Ferry and I love coach Brown...but they need to understand that the 6 mil/'year guy is a lot better than the 12 mil/per year guy.

But up above...you are correct...the ball don't lie.

How many threads can we talk about whether Jamison is good or bad. It's pretty much 20 people arguing with 1 person.
