Before you leave, ask for a letter of recommendation!
Immediately start hitting the job boards like Linkedin.com and get your resume out there. Send it to every head-hunter you can find that specializes in your specific talent, and include a copy of the letter!

Upper, you have managed to impress a large number of people on this site via a limited means of expression -- just think what you can do if you apply this skill to your job search? Not to simplify the process by any means, but with your skillset and talents, perhaps an "outside the box" (I hate that term, I know) approach to your job search is the best way to go? The old school "send my resume" approach is antiquated and lumps you in with too many people. Wish I could offer advice, I think you have an advantage with your brain and your articulation skills, so maybe start there?

I'll keep my eyes and ears open for any openings down here in Cincinnati if you aren't opposed.

Upper, There's always a better job than you had. Think back to before you got that job and what you felt like. Get out there and bang those doors and make your "luck" happen again. And you have another job on your resume'.

Good jobs rarely come knocking on your door. Get out there and put applications in on jobs you don't even think you have a chance at . "LUCK" happens but you have to be in the game...
