I haven't spent much time in Cbus and my brother and his friends are kind of nerdy fellows and I need to get them out of the box and find some chicks.

What are the "cool" bars to go where girls go? I'm not talking about cool hole in the wall type bars with tons of good beers to try...the lame bars that play all modern pop music where chicks go and are wasted after one drink and begin to believe that waking up in the arms a of dude she just met sounds better than sleeping alone?

After that, what's the best strip clubs?

Yep. Pretty much sums it up.

All of the whores you're looking for would be on Campus this evening.

No clue on the strip clubs, other than the Gold Fox, just because it's so close to the Waffle House that I frequent often.

Mantooth could help you there, though.

Haha....the Gold Fox....usually when we go to C-Bus for a Bachelor party, we stay at the Super 8(or at least it used to be) right beside the Gold Fox, and always hit up the Waffle house. Last time we walked right into the middle of a silverware throwing episode!

Back in my day (mid 90s), Banana Joes downtown was the place to meet the, umm, easiest ladies ... although I am pretty sure that place is long gone. Amazing how much campus has changed since I graduated in '98. On campus, we would often frequent Papa Joes, Not Al's Too, Cornerstone, Coeds, Outer-Inn, Bier Stube, etc ... ahhh memories.

I'm a first-year grad student at OSU, but I went elsewhere for undergrad. Is Bier Stube really a good place to pick up girls? I've been there a couple times since I started school in August, but it never really struck me as the place to find a bar chick.

Yeah, I wasn't looking either. So, I thought maybe I missed something. The place has a good jukebox and cheap beer going for it, at the very least.

That is great to hear! Will have to hit both bars next time I am in town.

As far as picking up girls, I don't remember the Stube being an easy mingling place. More of a place to grab a cheap beer and get hammered. I remember they used to have that shuffle board game there, is that still there? I just liked getting bombed and stumbling over to Taco Bell next door. One time it was closed, so we walked through the drive through, and pretended we were in a car (2 rows or 2 people, I pretended I was honking a horn). They yelled at us, but I got my Mexican Pizza!

I don't go to Gaswerks because employees were dressed up a "Virginia Tech Shooting Victims" for Halloween the year that the shooting happened and management didn't give a shit.

I also got kicked out of Brother's while trying to prove my driver's license was real by showing a membership card and my CHL. The guy called me an "asshole" and had 2 bouncers escort me out.

Oh yes. haha, I had friends who grew up on the Northside, mere steps away from that place. It's weird, it's like in a semi-neighborhood area. I always envision strip clubs to not be located in places like that, but yeah, I think that place is still kicking.

I'm pretty sure the Doll House is owned by Russian mafia. There were some scary dudes in there last time I attended.

haha, fantastic. There was also a place down 161 called Remingtons. We knew the bouncer, we would never pay cover, and it was $2 pints every night. Half the dancers knew us and wouldn't charge us, it was fantastic. I heard that place went downhill, but that was years ago, not sure it even exists anymore.
