Is this a record for most goals in a period for the olympics?

I don't think team USA was looking ahead they just ran into one helluva goalie and will again today.
KnightXC1 wrote: This is no easy game by any means Rock. Finland will look like Canada after playing the Swiss. Plenty of very good NHL players, especially Kiprusoff who is playing great right now. US has still yet to play a great game. If they continue to turn the puck over and allow the chances they gave up against the Swiss, they will be in big trouble tonight. Guys like Koivu (both of em), Selanne, Jokinen, and Lehtinen will make them pay dearly. Miller must play great again for the US to have a chance, unless they decide to finally play a complete game.
Ummmmm, yeah, the boys were definitely looking ahead against the Swiss, it's 6-0 right now. Hate to say I told you so.;)

I'm sick and tired of hearing how great everyone else is, we have a damn good hockey team and it's showing today. I'm also sick of hearing about how the Canadians are intimidating, trust me, our boys will not be intimidated one bit.......that is if Canada beats Slovakia tonight.

All I want to know is who is the UN-American that voted for Finland in this poll! Great showing by the US today though.

The play in the Swiss game was comparable to this. The only difference is the play in the opposing goaltenders.

Have you ever watched a hockey game before?

Rock, we have a good team but the problem has been that they have yet to play a great all around game, until today which is why people were worried, and with good reason. The USA has been turning the puck over a ton in the first 4 game and left Miller out to dry a few times. They are playing great today and if they play like this Sunday, a gold medal is in the future.

I've forgot more hockey than you've ever watched!

LMAO.........today's play is comparable to the Swiss game? According to the numbers, Kiprusoff was the BEST goalie in this tournament and the US chased him from the goal. Look, I gave Switzerland credit, yeah Hiller stood on his head and they probably are the best system oriented team in the tournament but we were looking ahead.
