Hey I made it in! I don't know how but I did, thanks for the help foc. I will be there as well, 40 yard line, scoreboard side almost to the top, right? I'm pretty sure there will be a few davidson hats though, lol! I'll be wearing a white state championship hoody with, Davidson Football, Are you tough enough. printed on the back. I haven't seen another one w that one it. Now to the game, I have to say that davidson has the upper hand here, there whole backfield sat and watched as they lost the first meeting. The second team did an awesome job, w the help of a recovering JT, and that experience those guys gained will be invaluable if needed lets hope that doesn't come to pass. Our "second team" then went on to finish the season winning out and even a playoff win in round one. And they also had One or two key D guys out at different times during that stretch I believe. They are all back now and I don't think the cat's are very happy about what happened in the first game, there just might be a little chip on the shoulder. The "starting" backfield looked great last week, gotta love the power I formation, don't let them get to 3rd or 4th and short cuz that power I is good for at least 2 everytime. First down wildcats! And JD is lights out Putting the ball through the end zone on kick offs and hittin 40 yard plus FG's, WOW! Watch out for the onside kick. Now I haven't seen a whole lot of DC, mostly cuz I don't care to, lol! I know they aren't gonna just lay down, thats obvious, I'm just sayin, Put that w the key injuries DC has sustained and Everybody back for HD, advantage HD. One thing they have to stop is the QB draw or scramble up the middle, that hurt them in game one and PC had big gaines w that as well. they count on our swarming D, get us going to the outside, Where there is usually no room. and run up the middle. DC also likes the bootleg pass and the slant allot. if we can stop 2 of those 3 consistantly and don't get burnt deep! Do our thing on O, we will be fine ( I'm sayin "we" like I'm playin, in my heart im out there, those guys are playin for all of us who wore the blue and white when times weren't so good)

They played together on Ohio Warhawks 15's. We live in Newark and my son goes to Newark Catholic. I graduated from Pickerington. Yea there was a Phil on the team, also a good kid.reeses wrote:If your son played baseball with Colton - then he also played with one of the Davidson players - Phil (center). Because they have been playing baseball together since they were 12 years old. Are you from Pickerington by any chance?xnds1fan wrote: I'm pulling for Dublin, only because my son played baseball with their QB Colton Caldwell a few years ago. If anyone knows his dad. Does he remind you of Rodney Dangerfield in the movie Back To School?
Hell now I have to root for both teams.

I will be attending this game and I cannot wait. I live down the road from Davidson High and know many of the school employee's, however, I coach track and cross-country for Dublin Sells Junior High and that is ultimately my connection to Coffman so I have to go with the Shamrocks.

Best to both Coffman and Davidson. Both teams are well deserving of being in this game and the winner will represent very well. I look forward to attending and let's hope the game is injury free.

So, does Davidson getting their offensive "trio" back make the difference in this rematch?

YES! I went to the Desalles Watterson game, always heard what a great rivalry it is, not all that impressed really. it was an ok game, some ok players. You could see the Desalles influence on Coach White, they do the fake kick off thing every time and at times their offence resmbles ours, though they throw alot more, but thats not real hard to do lol! anyway one more time, and then see you at the game. GO CATS!!!! BEAT THE SNOT OUT OF COFFMAN!!!!FanOfCats wrote: So, does Davidson getting their offensive "trio" back make the difference in this rematch?

Actually, Coach White brought the onside kick (fake kick) to DeSales when he was special teams coach.... They were looking for something different to add dimensions to their special teams and to give the other team something else to work on. But, yes, you can definitely see DeSales' influence on Coach White's offense.
I really like Davidson's chances tonight.

Good luck to both teams. Whoever wins should represent central Ohio quite well.

Coffman win this contest, I don't think the power run game (Hilliard Davidson) will be enough tonight to win Coffman 27-10!!

Davidson wins this contest. I don't think the (Dublin Coffman) defense will be able to stop the Hilliard Davidson ground game. Davidson wins 27-10.

Congratulations to the Cats! Very well played game, especially on defense. Man, there were some major hits in this game. Defense controlled this game (other than a couple long throws, one of them in the final seconds of the game) all the way. The draw was somewhat effective for Coffman, but even that was shut down in the second half.
Ricco and Delande ran down hill all night and gained tough yards with guys on their backs. I felt like the game was never in question. Good job Cats!

NIIIICE Game cats!!!!, I knew that you were to much for the Rocks, You are right FOC, I too never felt the game was in question. And when they hit the 2 point conversion to go up 16 you could almost hear the air let out of their sails. Interesting about White being the creator of the fake on side, I love it, and the muddle huddle line up thing they do for the extra point proved effective also. I remember the fans on the other huddle sight in '06 from Mentor hated those two things about us. I love that stuff! The O was great, clicking on all cylinders, the D was lights out, but for the two deep balls, but those were there only two big plays. And JD was JD, great kickoffs, and great punts, total team win. total domination of the Rocks. Great season and cograts to the Rocks by the way, you just ran into a team with a chip on their shoulder tonight. On to the semi's!!!!

Wildcat, I wouldn't say White was the inventor... he is just the one that brought it to DeSales (and then on to Davidson).
I'll miss the semi-finals next week due to holiday travel. HOPEFULLY I can see that Cats in Week 15 though. It will be a battle but Davidson has played the titans of Reg 4 before and made a game of it each time. Here's hoping
