St. Louis Rams pick
Ciron Black-OT-LSU
he will play strictly right tackle/right guard and move Jason Smith over to left tackle and move either former left tackle Alex Barron to either a backup role or release him out right.

With the 66th pick in the NFL Draft

The Detroit Lions select Kurt Coleman from THE Ohio State University.

Solid safety that could get immediate playing time. Creates turnovers with both INT's and FF's. Underrated and could be a huge get in the 3rd round.

I was going to pick him if he was still available... I hope he goes in the 2nd round, my favorite buckeye in a long time. If he runs a sub 4.4 in the combine he will help his draft status immensly. Although I think he is the 2nd best saftey to Berry in this class...

BTW, does anyone want to take over the Jets going forward? They don't have a third round pick so they won't be picking for a while.

We should be churning out picks left and right during the week.

Even if you can't check your computer that much, you still can see when you're about five spots away and send a list of players you would select if they're still available.

Agreed but I think people lose interest after the first 2 rounds because they don't know anymore players and now require to research their picks.

I'm not that high on any of those other guys (weak class IMO), but McKnight better get a grasp on his fumbling problem or he won't see the field.

McKnight is a poor man's Bush, who really didn't play well until recently.

McKnight has to be used right in order to be effective, those other 3 guys are completely different runningbacks.

Basically they shouldn't be compared.

I disagree. I submit that Gerhart is a poor man's Alstott and Matthews will be a poor man after his first contract expires. Dwyer may be ok but I don't see a star out of him.

McKnight will light it up.

McKnight wasn't anything real special at USC. He had one decent year, barely 1,000 yards and only 8 TD's on an USC team that went to the Emerald Bowl. And this was behind a veteran offensive line which was supposed to dominate.

He was supposed to be the next Bush type Heisman winner for USC. He had fumbling problems and now he has played a role in bringing the hammer down on USC (reason he bolted).

Too many runningbacks on the USC squad.

USC has always had mass RB's, hell Bush played with White who was better than any RB on the USC squad this year.

McKnight had the opportunity as the #1 guy and he couldn't produce. Maybe he was too preoccupied riding in his new Rover.

Give me some examples (stats I guess) of 'lighting it up'. I see AP and Rice lighting it up. If anything, I see McKnight struggling with the Bic.

With the 71st pick of the Freehuddle NFL Mock Draft, the Cleveland Browns select..

Kyle Calloway, OT, Iowa

Both positions on the right side of the O-Line need upgraded, and Calloway is a solid pick to take over the RT position. Selvish Capers, Sam Young, and Jared Veldheer were other OL options here.

Other options at different positions

QB- Tony Pike and Dan Lefevour

RB- Montario Hardesty and Legarette Blount

Wr- Demaryius Thomas and Jordan Shipley

S- Major Wright, Kam Chancellor, and Myron Rolle

DE- Corey Wootton

I think there are some good defensive linemen still on the board

Not that it matters too much, just don't want it to be too unrealistic and somebody really good falls too far.

Yeah Corey Wootton, DE, Northwestern is still available and is projected as a 2nd round pick. He may even move up a little in the actual draft. It took me forever to finally make a decision on my pick. I'm still not sure that I made the right decision on the Browns pick, but oh well....
