Link?

Or are you a member of the NCAA investigation committee, or are you predicting the future?

I assume it is regards to additional practice time, and no it won't be a big deal.

Good. The Big Ten needs UM to be back and major violations would definitely delay that.

were they accused of major violations ? I thought it was just minor stuff, extra practice and poor log books.

Does the NCAA pick and choose who they will go after hard (Michigan), and who they will take their time with (USC)? I admit that I have no idea how the NCAA operates. But, I think it is absurd that it has taken as long as it has to come up with a solution to the USC fiasco, and they are already addressing the Michigan playing time question.

Attorney's from Reggie Bush's camp delayed the investigation by the NCAA, until that was resolved they couldn't move forward. It had something to do with keeping the info private and was denied.

Rich Rod must have had someone to falsify, i mean fill out, those reports for him at WVU. Otherwise he would have known the rules.

My problem is that this is the first time Tsun has had any violations to my knowledge. So not only has Rrod took the program to new low the last two years but he also handed them their first violations. When will they wake up!! I always respected Bo and Lloyd because they did things the right way and genuinely cared about the kids. I dont get that feeling with Rrod and never have. Dont give me that garbage about needing to get over Bo and Lloyd either. Did they need to change the x's and o's maybe. But they didnt need to change their core values. Unfotinately imo RRod did this.

It is ironic they're going to have some sanctions either self imposed/or by the NCAA for actions that amounted to not helping them worth a shit.

Your right Rich Rod doesnt give a damn about those kid's! That's clearly why he issued punishment to those kid's who were skipping summer classes. That's actually one of the allegation's by the ncaa! They're upset because Rich Rod was punishing kid's for not going to class during the summer! What a fucking joke the ncaa is to make a big deal out of a coach punishing his players for failing to go to class even if it was during the summer!

One of the other allegation's was actually something that is now permitted by the ncaa. Another one of the violations is because coaches were talking to player's while they were stretching.

Was Michigan even looking at for major violations to begin with? Or were they just minor ones?

Sure looks like they are violating some rules.

whoever was wondering how the NCAA operates should know that they're severely understaffed, especially in their compliance department. With all that must be done with all of the member schools, they've only got a department of like 8-10 people working on it at a time. Saw this on Outside the Lines or something like that. Could be why it takes forever for this stuff to come down

Plus, the USC case is a little more complicated than the UM one.

Michigan's case is a drop in the bucket compared to USC. USC is going to get hammered in a MAJOR way while Michigan is almost certainly going to get off with a slap on the wrist. t
