So does Limbaugh, Rush, Beck, Maddow, etc. Thing is they get ratings so a business minded individual would be foolish to get rid of them.
Have you seen Olbermann's ratings compared to Beck. Glen crushes him.
Which says little for the people who watch either.

So that means Beck has more loons watching him than Olbermann does. I wouldn't necessarily be parading that.

Why are you all caught up in which D-bag gets better ratings?

The point was that all the shows I listed probably perform okay or else they wouldn't be on television. So until we start refusing to watch these guys (I already do) we're not going to get decent news or news discussion on television.

STILL to this day people don't get it.

FOX, MSNBC, CNN, etc., all of these stations are, for the most part... news.

They do have commentary shows in the evening for a few hours (not sure of the times), but most of the 24 hour day is concerned with nothing but news.
*Just checked, looks like most of them start at 5pm.

This has been repeatedly pointed out over and over again on this site and the old one.
Yet, people still want to blanket label everythings.

If ya can't differentiate between the two, well... that's your problem I guess :D
