Pretty sure they do 10 min and shootout throughout, I think I remember a big match being decided in a SO a few years back.

Well, hopefully they spent all their energy. Hiller, if on his game, could pose a problem. Here is hoping the U.S. can keep it going.

Czech just survived a scare, winning 3-2 with a few minutes to spare in OT over Latvia. Great game by the Latvia goaltender, and the Czechs just seemed to coast to the end and then finally picked it up.
Czechs play Finland next.
Slovakia up 2-0 on Norway already in the 1st.
Schedule for tomorrow thus far:
US-Swiss 3pm
Russia-Canada 7pm
Czech-Finland 10pm
Slovak/ Norway-Sweden 12am.

Slovakia pulled out a 4-3 win over Norway ... surprising struggles by them and the Czechs last night. Lets go USA, bring on the Swiss today.

USA
Canada
Czech Republic
Slovakia
I don't see Canada falling tonight. I don't see both Finland and Sweden advancing (if either), and I'm still waiting for Slovakia to play inspired again like they did against Russia. If they do, they can beat Sweden. The good news for the US is that they play the earliest and the other 3 winners will be in absolute dogfights just to reach the semis. Such a great draw for the Americans.

Now that Canada has rolled, I almost want to see Sweden/Canada tomorrow night. Rooting for Slovakia but if Sweden wins it will set up another epic game tomorrow night.

Well, there are no Men's games tomorrow. (US Women play Canada tomorrow in Gold game, 7:30 ET)
The semis are Friday. And by my guess the U.S. is the first game, which is 3pm ET.
2nd game, Canada and Sweden/Slovak would be 9:30 ET.

After defeating the Czech Republic, Finland will face the United States on Friday in first semi final game. This could pose a big problem for the US has Kiprosoff is playing as well as Ryan Miller and has much more help than the Swiss gave Jonas Hiller.

Missed Finland over the Czech's, great goaltending there wow.
Not surprised about Slovakia, Halak was really good.
Honestly, it's setting up great for Canada.
I think Canada is going to be way too much for Slovakia, despite them being one of the toughest working teams. The USA on the other hand is going to have their hands full with Finland. Luckily they will get to play the early game again.
Canada/United State II is looking likely, and how huge would that be?

If it is Canada and US II, I expect Canada to roll given how they are playing. It could be Salt Lake again.
Really surprised at Slovakia, knocking out the 06 Gold medalists.
Games are set for Friday:
US and Finland 3pm ET
Canada and Slovakia 9:30pm ET

I have this strange feeling that Finland is going to spoil the party..
I hope I'm wrong, obviously.. Canada is looking amazing after that USA loss..
