Some recycling is BS, but I will say, having worked in the industry and been to plants, aluminum can recycling is NOT BS.
The amount of energy (read foreign oil, natrual gas, electricity, etc) to take a can and recycle it into another can is about 10% of what it takes to make an aluminum can from scratch.
I can't comment on many other recycling industries as I don't have first hand experience, but I have directly worked in an aluminum can recycling facility as they hired me to do some research into some of their processing issues.

Actually, the positions on their show tend to be well-researched and well-sourced. It's not just a comedian bloviating.cbus4life wrote:Lol, if you're serious, all your credibility just went flying out the window.bigmanbt wrote: Recycling is Bullshit. Watch the Penn & Teller about it.

Wasn't referring so much to Penn & Teller as i was to the "recycling is bullshit" comment.
Yes, some might be BS, but been involved in too many other things that were truly worthwhile.

Watch the show before you comment please. Telling someone their credibility just flew out the window when you don't know what you are talking about is pretty assanine.

Well, not really, considering it is pretty ridiculous to think that recycling in general is BS. As Jmog said, anyone who has experience with aluminum can recycling and the like knows that it is anything but BS.

I sense panic setting in among those tied to financial gain from the climate change hoax.
