What is your fastest speed in a car you have driven?
Speed and type of vehicle……..

As a owner of 1964 GTO………top end speed of 100MPH
with the Bobcat kit GTO top speed was 114MPH………………
Coming from Akron to Canton after leaving the Draft House I tested the top end speed 114MPH …..I only did that twice

I drove the Porsche 911 Targa top end speed is 178MPH ………140MPH and backed it down ……….. Just not ready to die that day…..

I had a Norton 750 back in the day.......top end speed (i think was 110
90MPH was good enought for me.......

Are we talking on a public road???

1990...Twin turbo Callaway ZR1 Corvette....blasting through the farms of North Central Ohio..It was stupid and dangerous and faster than I would rather post. I couldn't get anywhere near 6th gear.

125 on a township road in a rice grinder. It was A large downhill followed by a long flat straight away... more in danger of hitting a deer than anything else.

Public roads YES the GTO was down 77 and the Targa was on route 95 in SC

155 mph on I40 outside of Greensboro a little after 3 am. I was the only one on the highway and even with hood pins, my hood was flexin. There's no true handling on that car at that speed and it was pretty much a death wish. My brakes were smoking when I slowed down to negotiate a curve.

Back in high school, about 2:00 in the morning I was the only one on the road, 23 in toledo. Was in my sister's BMW and just decided to open it up; got it to about 140 when I thought it was time to slow down.

125 in my mom's 04' GTO in H.S...

Was running late to a football game and trying not to miss the bus. The road seems really, really narrow when you're going that fast; especially with cornfields on each side.

Hard to say just how fast, but I had my 1970 GTO pretty much pegged on US 33. Shut it down because the front end was getting to light to handle. No seatbelt, I had the seat sucked up my ass so far I didn't need one.

130 on a Screaming Eagle VRod
both on smooth straight flat open roads in Florida.
160 in a Petty car at Daytona. I have friends that drove for the Petty driving experience.
