Seriously?? Why are you slingin' painkillers when you've made millions coaching b-ball??

I don't understand the addiction to painkillers, but the fact that he made millions is irrelevant.

The addiction to pain killers is no different than one's addiction to heroin. Painkillers can make the sad times go away (temporarily). I'm sure Sutton's absence from big time coaching had a major effect on his decision to turn to drug use. Or, if he already had a problem, to turn to more of it. It is weird, though, that he was seeking illegal packages of the ADHD medication Adderall and klonopin, a mild sedative, on top of Vicodin. The Adderall just comes across as strange, and is something he could easily have went and faked symptoms for in order to get a prescription, rather than risk the consequences of finding a Ritalin-like street vendor (this is probably irrelevant, however).

I find it interesting that the Sutton family is still around Stillwater, going to games. One would think they'd of moved on by now, especially after father Sutton's embarrassing tenure end a few years ago.

Back when he was coaching, we (friends) talked about him looking like he was about to go postal, or have a nervous breakdown. i wish he and his family the best.
