it's about 50 miles north of Wilminton NC

peaceful quiet but close enough to get anywhere

I dunno if you guys would be into this but staying up at the Cedar Point Hotels always seemed like it would be fun. Its right there on Lake Erie too if you wanted to be a on beach. Although I don't think theres much night life up that way.

I 2nd this if you want to rent a house or condo, etc...and go with other people. I have used this site to book two houses in the past, one in NC in the mountains, and one in Orlando. Great site, great deals!!

PIB is def not a craphole. I try to go at least once a year and always have a blast. We'd probably hit up the bars a few nights and just party at the house we rent the rest of the time.
